Max

“I want to say thank you from the bottom of my heart. Your work is AMAZING. I’m sure you had a waiting list yet created the most amazing memory of my boy. I was blown away and it captured everything in detail from his little holes in his ears to his freckles on his snout and nose. What you did was not just a portrait. It was a sense of having my Max close to me and gave me a sense of peace in this very difficult time. Morgan went above and beyond to do this and I am so grateful to her and to you for this. It was sudden, too soon, and the first time I have ever had to say goodbye to one of my dogs. He was the happiest boy even what he came from and in six days he left this world with his head in my hands. It was peaceful but knife to my heart. I have daily breakdowns. But this portrait every time I look at it I smile knowing the years of happiness he had. So thank you for this and I will cherish it forever.”

Katie brought Max home as a foster 7 years ago. He was her first foster, an abused, neglected pit who had been possibly used for fighting or bait. Max had been placed in a garbage bag and thrown from a truck leaving him hanging onto life. Katie decided to love Max and she became his home. Katie says Max taught her patience, unconditional love, and how to find happiness in tough times. Katie and Max remind us that it only takes one person to change a life. Katie, it was such an honor to paint your handsome pup, Max.
